Tumis Daun Selada (Stir Fry Lettuce)
1 small head of lettuce
Prawn, skinless, as needed ,,but I use 1 sausage
4 cloves garlic, smashed, peeled and choped
1/2 onion, sliced thinly
3 tbs sweet corn
1 cm ginger, bruised
3 tbs olive oil
salt, sugar and pepper, as needed
Wash the lettuce, drain and separate the leaves.
It’s important to make sure the lettuce is dry.
Cut across the leaves into pieces about 1 inch wide.
Heat a wok on medium-high heat and add oil.
When the oil is hot, add the garlic, onion and ginger.
Stir-fry until aromatic and add the prawn.
Stir fry the prawn until opaque.
Pour about 50 ml of hot water and bring it to boil.
Add the lettuce,sweet corn and sausage, sprinkling with the salt, a pinch of sugar and pepper.
Stir-fry just for seconds, keep the crunchiness of lettuce
